A quick shout out to Debo who suggested demonoid as a bit torrent community. Admittedly, it takes some getting used to, and a little bit of effort figuring out all the stuff you need to download, but if I can do it, anyone can.
So far, I’ve downloaded: full CDs (every Radiohead, BNL, Nora Jones CD… for Lisa. Seriously. I mean it. Shut up.), audio books (Son of a Witch), movies (Pan’s Labyrinth, The Untouchables), entire TV series (Every Samurai Jack ever made! I mean c’mon!), and even entire comic book collections (thank you nerds who have the time to scan every comic book ever made). You can find software too, but I haven’t figured that out yet. And honestly, I don’t even want to steal Vista until the bugs are worked out.
