I've tried really hard to watch and enjoy this show because I've always loved Craig Ferguson, but the writing has always been pretty bad.
I like this, though. It's long, honest, almost joke-free, and yet it's the best of his monologues I've ever seen. I don't know that anyone is necessarily going to change comedy as a result, but it definitely made me step back and think a little bit about what's personally off-limits for me.
